Community Echo is a singular listening experience and a new auditory perspective on the city of Zurich. This work acts as a troubled sonic mirror. It reflects back to us the sounds we collectively produce with a twelve-hour delay. Time is shifted. The perception of space is gently disrupted. In a way, it is a collective work: everyone and everything passing within the range of the microphones contributes to the evolving sound of this installation.
